Adult Education Classes

Seminars and courses on a range of subjects are offered throughout the year. Programs on various aspects of Unitarian Universalist history and beliefs are often scheduled as well as classes on other spiritual traditions. Environmental topics, social action and self improvement are popular subjects.

In addition, nearly every Sunday, from 9 to 10 a.m., a Forum discussion takes place in our Starr King meeting room. The discussions, open to the public, cover a wide range of topics from religion to current events to practical living.

These informal sessions feature speakers or discussion leaders--often experts in diverse fields. Coffee and snacks are served and everyone is encouraged to participate in the discussions. Topics in the past have included charter schools, world peace making, ways to reduce electricity use, mysticism, Hinduism, global warming and racism.
